With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Shelton Worley (Marshall, North Carolina), who passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Coatney Shelton and Zenobia Franklin Shelton; her husband Ray Worley; her daughter Irene Rice; and her siblings, Grace Hensley, Bethel Shelton, Pansy Tarlton, Max, Tom, Rex, Ralph, Frank and Louis Shelton.
She is survived by : her children, Garry Worley (Donna) and Regina Holt (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Garry C. Worley (Amanda), Angela Ray (Daniel), Michael Worley (Michelle), Willard Rice, William Rice (Angie) and Ricky McGaha (Jennifer). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
