We bid farewell to Everett Sherlin (Marshall, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Everett touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Sherlin and Ruby Waldrop Rogers; his former wife Carolyn Galloway Sherlin; his brothers, Bobby Sherlin, George, Albert, Larry and Garry Sherlin; and his grandchildren, Shelby Jodry and Tucker Cole Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Reed Sherlin; his daughters, Marlena Carver and Deborah Bradley; his grandchildren, Trent Sherlin (Victoria), Maranda Garrett, Terri Worsham and Josh Carver; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Oliver, Macen, Morgann, Colcen, Ezrah, Dezmond, Rayland and Emmitt.
A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Gosnell Cemetery (125 Walnut Dr, Marshall, NC 28754).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Everrett's honor to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754, to assist the family with final expenses or to an organization of your choice.
