He was predeceased by : his parents, Sammy Moore and Carrie Moore; and his brother Roger D. Moore. He is survived by : his wife Betty Ann Hunter Moore; his children, Rhonda Merrill (Eric), Ann Moore, Sam Moore (Kelli) and John Moore (Sarah); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Maddie, Molly Moore, Bailey Merrill and Sarah Caldwell; and his nieces, Sonya DeBruhl, Shelly Buckner, Lisa Payne and Kim Miller.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN – 38105.
