He is survived by: his wife Patsy Metcalf Gentry; his children, Jenny Gentry Freeman, Charlotte Gentry, Kenya Khodayar, Kaleb Gentry (Eve) and Jerry Waites; his grandchildren, PJ Freeman (Samantha), Aaron Waites, Jerissa Waites, Kelisha Khodayar, Bryar Khodayar, Brandon Waites, Samantha Ashe, Ruby Ashe, Ashley Khodayar, Kristen Holzclaw and Kelcie Holzclaw; his sister Sandra Joyce Clark (Ronald); and his nieces, Kathy Partin, Penny Glenn and Rosie Bustos.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorial contributions to be made to Madison Funeral Services to assist with final expenses.
