It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Green (Marshall, North Carolina), born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George E. Green and Lucy Tweed Green; and his sisters, Kate Green, Christine Green Ponder, Mary Ruth Black (William) and Geneva Roberts (James).
He is survived by : his wife Claudia Fox Green; his sons, Keith Green (Mark Starr), George Marq Green and Matthew Allen Green; and his siblings, Belva Crum, Berniece Welch, Doris Jean Sprinkle and Bruce Green (Virginia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Oak Grove Church Cemetery in memory of Joe.
