It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mark Lowery of Marshall, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Cora Lee Chandler; and his brother Terrell Lowery. He is survived by : his wife Jenny Cole; his daughters, Jessica Hunter (Johnathan) and Bella Cole; his granddaughter Hannah Grace Hunter; his father Arthur Edward Chandler; and his siblings, Karen Glenn (Charles), Janie Kirkpatrick (Marty), Patty McCarter (JC), Annette Sluder (Matt), Angela Lowery, William Chandler, Kenny Chandler, James Chandler and Charles Chandler (Shelby). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a contribution to your church in John's name.
