He is survived by: his wife Ella "Squeakie" Metcalf; his children, Mike Metcalf Jr. (Miranda) of Morganton, Cager Metcalf of Greeneville, Robert Gross, Michael, Walter and Nancy; his grandchildren, Lilly Metcalf and Nikolai Metcalf; his sisters, Lendy Cutshaw (Ricky), Robena Shelton and Amy Duncan (Junie); his sisters-in-law, Janice Metcalf, Marie Metcalf and Bonnie Sue Metcalf; and his pet Little Bit.
