Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Patsy Charlene Gentry (Marshall, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 71, on October 31, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Metcalf and Ola Mae Shelton Metcalf; and her husband Joe Gentry. She is survived by: her children, Jenny Gentry Freeman, Kenya Khodayar, Kaleb Gentry (Eve) and Jerry Waites; her grandchildren, PJ Freeman (Samantha), Aaron Waites, Jerissa Waites, Kelisha Khodayar, Bryar Khodayar, Brandon Waites, Ashley Khodayar, Kristen Holzclaw and Kelcie Holzclaw; her sister Linnus Cutburth (Brent); and her nieces, Kathy Partin, Penny Glenn and Rosie Bustos. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorial contributions to be made to Madison Funeral Services to assist with final expenses.
