She was predeceased by: her parents, Vierce Rowland and Dollie Gibson Rowland; and her siblings, Steve Rowland, Freddie Cothern and Ethel Mull.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ledford (Shonda) and Melissa Sparks (Daniel); her sisters, Christine Fisher and Mildred Rogers; her grandchildren, Erik, Haley, Jordan, Emily and Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Emma, Sawyer and Amari. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (525 US-64, Hayesville, NC 28904). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
