She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gillespie and Dorothy Scott Gillespie; and her husband Hughes Treadway. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Treadway (Dannie) and Deborah Treadway Carter (Rob); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Marler (Darlene), Kellie Marler Green and Robert Hughes Carter; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Mary Adleigh Green, Adah, Lydia and Aaron Marler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Madison Hospice, P.O. Box 69, Marshall, NC 28753, whose staff provided amazing and loving care.
