He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Strohm and Minnie Fairbanks Strohm; and his sister Carole Gold. He is survived by: his wife Joanie; his sons, Greg, Mark, Chris and Steve (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Christopher, Cassandra, Michael, Tyler, Andrea and Ellie; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Kora and Freya.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Weaverville United Methodist Church (85 S Main St, Weaverville, NC 28787).
