She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Helms Comer and Evelyn Auman Helms Comer; and her husband Robert Clayton Yates. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Yates Green (Sheldon) and Janet Yates Saunders (Sandy); her grandchildren, Chase Green, Shelby Green and Jordan Saunders; and her sister Carolyn Sherayko. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
