He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Johnson, Sr. and Georgie Gaddy Johnson; and his brothers, Gary R. Johnson and John D. Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Ricky Johnson (Susan), Betty Faye Johnson, Elaine Hillard (Charles), Debbie Melton (Harold) and Angela Johnson. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
