He is survived by: his children, Michael Turner (Susan), Dawn Phillips and Karen Parker (Lee); his grandchildren, Kim, Andy Medlin, Kelli Phillips, Dustin, Kristen Jankura, Sallie, Lela, Wyatt Parker, Cody, Sidney Turner, Brooke McMillan (Bernard), Elizabeth and Casey Stennett; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Lucas, Hunner, Adriana, Jolie, Liyah Grace, Jaxon, Luke, Raylan, Tate, Blakely, Olivia Cole and Banks; and his siblings, Susan Lugo (Raul), Mary Coble and Comrade Turner (Janette).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (7002 Pleasant Hill Church Rd, Marshville, NC 28103).
