She was predeceased by: her parents, John Theron and Velma Pressley Medlin; and her brother Jimmy Medlin. She is survived by: her husband Frank Goodson; her children, Angie Jones (Mike), David Morgan (Buffy) and Jennifer Wooten (Joe); her grandchildren, Shelby Church, Addison Jones, Bryson, Jaxon Morgan, Cameron, Jack and Sam Wooten; her great grandchildren, Emery and Avery Church; and her sisters, Libby Neal and Dianne Laney.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
