She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Lee Purser, Sr. and Marie Smith Purser; her former husband Benton Nance; her brother John Purser; and her grandson Andy Coppedge.

She is survived by: her husband James Gordon; her daughters, Kay Coppedge (Tommy), Diane Parker (Steve), Teresa Davis and Tracy Coppedge (Mike); her stepdaughters, Gail Smith (Glenn), Teresa Gordon and Susan Thomas; her grandchildren, Chad Coppedge (Michelle), Stephanie Pope (Donald), Casey Parker (Heather), Jake Davis (Celena) and Katie Coppedge; her great grandchildren, Cody, Clayton Pope, Emma, Walker, Max Coppedge, Aubrey, Ava Parker and Harper Davis; her brother Troy Lee Purser, Jr. (Joyce); and her great grandchild Phoenix Morse. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
