She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Nance and Maude Griffin Nance; and her grandson Cameron Blair Simpson. She is survived by: her husband William Fred "Short" Simpson; her sons, William Gregg Simpson (Julie) and Ted Simpson (Debbie); her grandchildren, William Garner Simpson (Rachael) and Wendi Simpson Howard (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Gage Howard, Grayson Howard and Adalynn Simpson.
