He was predeceased by: his parents, Wriston Edwards and Wilma Griffin Edwards; and his siblings, Pete Edwards and Doris McWhorter. He is survived by: his wife Gail Thomas Edwards; his children, Jodi Edwards Doolittle (Chuck), Tommy Edwards (Aprill), David Edwards (Jessica) and Jimmy Edwards (Sarah); his siblings, Max Edwards, Vann Edwards (Kathryn), Virgie Baucom, Ruby Baucom (Rommie) and Judy Thomas; his grandchildren, Brandon Eudy, Caleb Edwards, Emma Edwards, Shelby Doolittle Boswell (Zach), Wyatt Doolittle, Clara Edwards, Henry Edwards and Nathan Edwards; his great grandchildren, Weston and Hadleigh Boswell; and his sister-in-law Lib Edwards.
