He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph and Dorothy; his wife Patricia Kay (Modrall); his son Bradley Michael Laatsch (Shannon); his grandchildren, Carter and Parker; his son Patrick Ryan Laatsch (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lauryn, Reagan and Eden; his child Kendall Ann Laatsch (Brad Whited); his grandchildren, Madison and Ada; his children, Braden, Silas and Londyn; and his siblings, Cindy Owen, Nancy Beach (Chuck), Peggy Trier (Jim), Sally Hudeck (Paul) and Terry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (928 New Salem Rd, Monroe, NC 28103). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 928 New Salem Rd, Marshville, NC 28103.
