She was predeceased by: her parents, John Craven Smith and Mary Linday Meggs Smith. She is survived by: her husband Lance Furr; her sons, Derek Furr (Caroline), Brian Furr (Cheryl), Samuel Furr (Sari), Jacob Furr (Sara), Preston Furr (Megan) and Clayton Furr; her great grandchild Eloise Bee; and her siblings, Brady Smith (Ann), Marlene Love (Dennis), Wesley Smith (Angie) and Alfred Smith (Kathi).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (7002 Pleasant Hill Church Rd, Marshville, NC 28103). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7002 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
