She was predeceased by: her significant other Parks; her parents, William Sanford Rushing and Velma Donna Williams Rushing (Parks Mullis); and her siblings, Pauline Polk, Colene Hinson and Kenneth Rushing.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Mullis (Janice) of Marshville and Ronnie Mullis (Teresa) of Marshville; her great grandchildren, Randy Mullis (Leigh), Tera Staton (Tommy), Jessica Surratt, Ashley Ivey (Charles) and Dane Mullis (Haylea); Landen, Ashton, Bo, Brady, Taylor, Reagan, Dylan, Allison, Parker, Eden and Reece. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church (6302 E Lawyers Rd, Marshville, NC 28103). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (6302 E Lawyers Rd, Marshville, NC 28103).
