It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Wayne Love Sr. of Marshville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mitchell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mitchell. Though Mitchell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wayne Love Sr. and Mary Smith. He is survived by: his children, Julie Bailey (David), Mitchell Love Jr. (Rochelle), Matt Love (Jennifer) and Brian Love (Rebekah); and his siblings, Rex Love (Kim), John Love Jr. (Rhonda) and Marie Daniels (David). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren; his 3 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Locust (501 N Central Ave, Locust, NC 28097).
