He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Martin Williams and Elizabeth Medlin Williams; his wife Geraldine Hasty Williams; his siblings, Buren Williams, Hoyle Williams, Blondell Davis, Pauline Helms and Macie Warner; and his nephew Rommie Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Williams Thomas (Max), Robin Williams Simpson (Vann), Kimberly Williams Blankenship (Larry) and Bett Huggins; his brothers, Homer Williams (Frances) and Earl Williams (Sybil); his grandchildren, J. Max Thomas and Cameron Thomas (Randi); and his great grandchildren, Audrey Thomas and Maeve Thomas.
