With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Canupp Gladden (Marshville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Canupp and Gertie Hatley Canupp; her former husband Lloyd Gladden; and her brothers, Clyde Canupp, Hugh Canupp, Bruce Canupp and John Dowd Canupp.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Perry (Joe) and Dawn Gray (Tim Baucom); and her husband Southland Oil Co.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be make to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund at 5928 New Salem Rd., Marshville, NC 28103.
