With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonathan Kerry James (Marston, North Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his close friends, Eva Ann and Kolt; his grandparents, Mitchell, Betty Elvis, William and Leah James; his father-in-law Tracy McDonald; and his brother-in-law Robert McDonald.
He is survived by: his son Jonathan Kerry James II (Carolina); his parents, Cynthia Gail James of Hamlet and Robert David James of Rockingham; his wife Heather Ann James; his siblings, Robert David James Jr. (Brooke), Mitchell William James (Nikki), Nyssa Fucci (Daniel) and Harley Waite; and his sisters-in-law, Casey McDonald (Garrett) and Madison McDonald.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Atrium Health Transplant Fund as this was a cause close to Kerry's heart.
