It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lindsay Godwin of Marston, North Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Godwin and Kathleen Watson Lucas; and his brother Harold Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Deana" M. Godwin; his sons, Lindsay "Lynn" Charles Godwin (Renee) of Mamers and Anthony "Tony" Lynn Godwin (Shannon) of Pittsboro; his siblings, Leo Watson of Missouri, Richard Godwin (JoAnn) of Michigan, Thomas Godwin (Hariette) of Marston, Jimmy Godwin of Laurinburg, Geraldine Meisman (Gary) of Laurinburg and Faye Gordon (Dave) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Wyatt Godwin, Colton Godwin, Joshua Godwin and Christina Gregory (Terry); and his great grandchildren, Harper Godwin, Logan Godwin, Damien Gregory and Trenton Gregory.
