He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bell and Hattie Steele Davis; and his siblings, Vivian Davis, Donald Davis, Jerry Davis and Ruth Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda P. Davis; his daughters, Shirley Davis Walser and Ginger Edwards (Shaun); his sister Doris Thurman; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Ryan, Collin, Ashton and Morgan. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces & nephews.
