We announce the death of Billie Ray Rummage (Matthews, North Carolina), who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 95. Billie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rufus Rummage and Ruth Lyerly Rummage; and his son Robert James Rummage. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Paul Rummage (Carole), Mary Rummage Stahr (Jeff) and Richard Allan Rummage (Marianne); his adoptive daughter Teresa Benner (Frank); his grandchildren, Jennifer Rummage Nietschamnn (Jason), Laura Rummage Aycock (Jason), Micheal Thomas Rummag and Anthony Rios; his great grandchildren, Gavin Nietschmann, Blake Neitschmann (Camila), Kendall Nietschmann, Maryn Nietschmann, Ryleigh Aycock, Emma Aycock and Sadie Aycock; and his great great grandchild Summer Nietschmann.
