She was predeceased by: her mother Jeanne Bain; and also Marion "Mac" Bain. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Savannah, Mallory, Velma, Grayson and Axel; her husband Harold B. Cullingford Jr. of Indian Trail, NC; her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Carlson (Adam) of Winston Salem, NC and Heather Lynn Ticknor (Curtis) of Maggie Valley, NC; her niece Summer Lette (Rafael) of Maui, HI; her brothers, Charles (Chuck), Michael Bain of New Orleans, LA and David Bain (Kathy) of Wilson, NC; and her in-laws, Harold B Cullingford Sr., Carolyn Cullingford of Monroe, NC, Debbie and Tina Cullingford of Monroe, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services - Matthews Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Glioblastoma Research Organization (http://www.gbmresearch.org) in her honor.
