She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sharp and Elma Sharp; her siblings, Arlene Young, Wesley, Donald and Melvin Sharp; and her granddaughter Samantha M. Hammond.

She is survived by: her sister Hope; her husband Francis J. Hammond, Jr.; her children, Brian Scott Hammond and Dianne Hammond Novak; and her grandchildren, Johnathan M. Hammond, Luke J. Novak, Alex S. Novak and Victoria H Novak.
