He is survived by: his wife Mirriam Lois Tyson; his son Lamar Thomas (Cynthia Gaither) of Valley, Alabama; his son-in-law Mitchell Hooks of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Mirriam Nicole Hooks Chaney (Zechariah) of Mint Hill, NC, Hunter Thomas of Houston, TX and Landon Thomas (Kacie) of Jacksonville, FL.; his great grandchildren, Levi Chaney, Allie and Asher Thomas; and his brother Heath Thomas (Norma) of Peachland, NC. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, friends and his church family.
