He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris W. Cowan and Frances Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hall Cowan; his children, Courtney Ellis and Christopher Cowan; and his grandchildren, Kendall, Mason and Cole.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel (7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227).
In honor of Connie's compassionate spirit, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization close to his heart.
