Daniel Baird Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 79, Daniel Baird of Matthews, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church (2817 Mt Harmony Church Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of the love and care shown to Dan, the family respectfully requests any memorials be made to VIA Hospice of Charlotte or to a local hospice of your choice.
