It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Knapp (Matthews, North Carolina), born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Malcom Karr Dale; her brother Jeffrey Dale; and her son Daniel Knapp. She is survived by: her mother Francine Evelyn Kimbark; her husband Don Knapp; and her siblings, Mark Dale (Liz), Terri Dale, Robert Dale (Renee), David Dale (Karen) and Megan Matassa (Joe). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home (4715 Margaret Wallace Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of her love for and dedication to helping others, the family respectfully requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to Harvest Hands Ministries, an orphanage in Mexico dear to her heart.
