He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Hatcher and Sallie Mae Griffin; and his siblings, Hazel, Corinna, Stan, Easter, Hester and Nina.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Whitley Hatcher; his daughters, Teri Hatcher Bucholtz (Jim), Lisa Watkins Thornton (Charles) and Wendy Hatcher Rebadow (Mark); his grandchildren, Kevin, Emily, Allison, Daria, Joel, Megan, Matthew and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Norah, Owen, Emma, Addison, Eleanor and John; and his brother Dalton Hatcher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services - Matthews Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
