He is survived by: his wife Tammie of Matthews; his children, Kati, Bryan Goode of Matthews, Shawn and Jennifer Hersey of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Allison, Austin, Abby, Audrey, Rowan and Isla; his brother Chris; and his sister-in-law Tracey Hersey of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
