He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mackey Elliott Jr. and Elizabeth Baines; and his grandson Mason. He is survived by: his wife Toni Bovee Elliott; his brother Randy Elliott; his children, Duane Elliott, Dana Keane (John), Darren Elliott, Laura Johnson, Dilyse Smialek (Jeff), Kimberley Crespo (Fernando) and Dustin Elliott (Stacy); his grandchildren, Desi, Mikayla, Ashley, Beau, Luc, Makenna, Vance, Colton, Jake, Faith, Jenna, Carley, Drake, Lucas, Cooper, Mila, Madison and Parker; and his great grandchildren, Briggs, Maeve and Freya.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New City Church (11011 Monroe Rd, Matthews, NC 28105).
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers people donate to the New City Church in memory of George Elliott.
