He is survived by: his wife Nancy Blizzard Morton; his sons, John Charles Morton, Mark Morton (Katie), Scott Foley (Jennifer) and Darren Morton (Myra); and his grandchildren, Elijah Morton, Joshua Morton, Macy Morton, Natasha Morton, Seth Moton, Taylor Morton, Kieran Foley, Chase Morton and Max Morton.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wightman Methodist Church (3986 Wightman Church Rd, Polkton, NC 28135).
