He is survived by: his wife Barbara Long Griffin; his grandson Jeffrey Griffin (Elizabeth); his children, Olivia, Amelia, Henry, Andrew, Scott Griffin (Lana) and Benjamin Coats; his grandchildren, Shelby and Haley; and his brother Crayton Griffin (Betty).
