He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Norton and Leo Norton; and his brothers, Leo "Red" (Stella Norton), Victor (Marjorie Norton) and Bill (Mary Norton).
He is survived by: his sons, Rick (Kate) of Fort Collins, CO, Tom (Jennifer) of Raleigh, NC, Pete (Allyson) of Burlington, NC, John (Kelly) of Monroe, NC, Pat (Pam) of Waxhaw, NC and Mark (Karen) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Nikki (Sean), Joseph (Courtney), Casey (Mike), Alex, Sean (Erin), Vincent, Kennedy, Owen, Kate (Brandon), Evan, Will and Allie; his great grandchildren, Liam, Tucker, Nastasia, Gemma, Charlie, Tatum, Pearl and Silas; and his sister Julia Norton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (725 Deese St, Monroe, NC 28112).
