She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Pressley and Esther Pressley; her husband Roger W. Sherin; her son Timothy'Tim'Sherin; and her siblings, Junior (Aileen), Ray (Mildred), Hugh (Doris), Sarah Margaret Pressley and Louise Helms (Joe Neal).
She is survived by: her son Stephen; her daughter-in-law Kelly Sherin; her son Jeffrey Sherin; her daughter-in-law Dawn Sherin; her grandson Jonathan Sherin; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Sherin and Gladys Porter (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church (3316 Pleasant Plains Rd, Matthews, NC 28105). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
