She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Fuentes; her grandchildren, Sarah Tamayo, Ana Fuentes-Medina and Fernando Fuentes; her great grandchildren, Giana Tamayo, Carlos Tamayo, Adrian Beato, Isaac Tamayo and Juliana Medina; and her sister Aida Checa. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Stephenson & Gaskin Funeral Services (14617 Lawyers Rd, Matthews, NC 28104).
