She is survived by: her husband Harold "Jim" James Dillon; her children, Scott Dillon (NC) of Maiden and Amy Wallace (NC) of Matthews; her grandchildren, Stephen Dillon (Kayla), James Dillon (Heather), Abigail Cerrato (Devin), Andrew Dillon (Anna), William Wallace (Katie), Natalie Wallace, Rebecca Dillon and Joshua Wallace (Ellie); her great grandchildren, Jay, Ari, Mary Carter Dillon, Avery, Delaney, Beckett, Harper Cerrato and Scottie Dillon; her sister Barbara Wentzel (CT) of New Canaan; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Dillon (Kay) of Florida and Sheila Dillon (NC) of Davidson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Open House (828 Winter Wood Dr, Matthews, NC 28105).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made in Mary (and Jim's) name to their long-time church, Christ Covenant Church (Matthews).
