Though Michael Luke may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael Luke touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Jack Rish. He is survived by: his mother Beth Rish; his wife Shelley Gresham-Rish; his daughters, Giulia and Giana Rish; his siblings, Karen Gamache (David) and Wesley Rish (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Gresham and Katherine Eaker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112).
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made in Luke's memory to either the Lupus Foundation of America or to the Rish Girls College Fund at Bank of America.
