Patricia Lee Mitchum Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 24, 2025, at the age of 95, Patricia Lee Mitchum of Matthews, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Patricia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Patricia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ashcraft Lee and Patricia Hood Lee; and her husband Charles Cecil Mitchum. She is survived by: her children, Sam Mitchum (Pam) and Patricia "Sissy" Mattox (Jim); and her grandchildren, Chris Mattox, Lauren Reeder, Molly Allred, Mark Mitchum and Kim Hattemer. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Calvary Church.
