He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Laino and Madeline Frascina Laino; and his wife Joan Laino. He is survived by: his children, Valerie J. Vitale (John) and Richard Laino Jr. (MaryAnn); his granddaughters, Danielle Avery (Keith) and Sarah Laino (Peter); and his great grandchildren, Emma and Ethan Avery.
