He is survived by: his wife Peg (Peg); his children, Melinda (late Jeffrey Nydick), Andy (Leslie) and Scott (Caroline); and his granddaughters, Olivia and Lila.
Dale and Peg later moved to Matthews, NC, where Dale took on a role as development officer for the Presbyterian Church (USA) Foundation.
