We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2025, at the age of 72, Roy Carlton Collins (Matthews, North Carolina), born in Chester, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Florence Estella Underwood and Joe Thomas Collins; his children, Heath Hutchinson (Missy) and Lindsay Collins Waddell (Robert); his grandchildren, Madeleine, Rowan, Adelie, Hank, Harlan and Paul; his siblings, Martha Collins and Hap Collins (Lee); and his close friend Tedi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services - Matthews Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
