He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Schwindler and Margaret Bermel Schwindler; his wife Dona Schwindler (Baumann); and his brothers, Francis and Michael "Etz" Schwindler.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Tamol (James), Michelle Repeta (Jerome), Lynn McNerney (Patrick) and Rebecca Thomson (Daniel); and his sister Bernice Farnsworth.
