We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2022, at the age of 83, Betty Jean Vaughan of Maxton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Culpepper and Hazel Stokes Culpepper; and her husband Monk R. Vaughan. She is survived by: her brother Winston Culpepper of Texas; and her sibling's children, Sandra Clark of Candler, Linda Cutmore of Florida, Sandy and Gary.
